How the process works
The Independent Parliamentary Standards Commission (IPSC) is an independent workplace investigatory body for complaints made by Australian Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplace participants.
The IPSC can investigate alleged breaches of the Behaviour Codes and Standards by Australian Parliamentarians, their staff and people that work in Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces across Australia – not limited by location. Complaints cannot be accepted from members of the public.

Supporting fair, independent and confidential complaint processes
The IPSC investigates allegations of breaches of behaviour codes and standards that apply to people who work or volunteer in Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces. We work independently and adhere to strict confidentiality processes. Protecting the identity of individuals participating in an investigation and preventing the disclosure of sensitive information is critical to the IPSC process.
